KCRW has partnered with local indie label IAMSOUND on their LA Collection to spotlight local artists you should know. The label is releasing a series of limited edition split 7″ singles – the first one out today — and we will debut the tracks exclusively online!

Moonrats is a dreamy pop outfit to keep an eye on. Their track “Good Night Blue” is currently available for download and streaming as Today’s Top Tune and they are working on their full length debut. You can also hear a live version of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros’ track “Up From Below,” recorded live at the Regent Theater streaming below.

Stream Up From Below Live at Regent Theater from IAMSOUND

The records themselves are being sold on the IAMSOUNDwebsite, at Pure Groove Records in the UK, and at local LA record shops (Origami, Amoeba, Vacation Vinyl, etc.)
