There have been a lot of covers worth highlighting lately – from Bonnie Raitt’s “Right Down the Line” to a recent live collaboration between M. Ward and Feist on the Jesus and Mary Chain’s “Sometimes Always” – but the track that has really got my attention is Saint Saviour’s cover of M83’s “Midnight City”.

The song is a huge hit, so it’s a daunting task, but I love how her ultra-high vocals actually sub for some of the instrumental parts of the song, making a straight up electro jam a bit more organic.

The UK artist co-wrote Groove Armada’s latest album “Black Light” and is set to release a new one of her own called “Union”, in June. Find out more here.
