Odessa’s “I Will be There” a listen. I liked it, but it wasn’t until I revisited it recently that I realized how special it is.

It’s a really sweet love song. I really like her voice and the lyrics are a meditation on love, dedication and loyalty.

Now, I can’t get enough of it.

The Cali native was born and raised by the ocean, in Santa Rosa California.

She’s toured as the violinist for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and recorded her forthcoming self-titled EP (out Sept 16) with producer Jacquire King (Of Monsters and Men, Norah Jones,Dawes).

She’s heading out on the road with KCRW fave Brett Dennen and hopefully we’ll see her back here soon.
