This guy might be the future of music.

Sango has been getting lots of love on my show Monday nights for the past year. And, as I write this, on my third draft, I’m realizing it’s hard to put the Michigan-based producer’s sound into words.

Ambient, slow 808’s and chill mixed with heavy 808’s and heavy bass.

One minute Sango unofficially remixes The Weeknd or Ginuwine and the next minute mixing an EP with samples from Bachata/Merengue. You really never know what you are going to get from a Sango release.

His new LP is entitled “North” and came out last week on Soulection.

Grab a free download of his track “Here With Me” on Soundcloud and stream one of my favorites, “Middle of Things, Beautiful Wife” below.

This album features lush sounds, future bass and soul. I love it from start to finish. This is the perfect album for that late night vibe after a night on the town. I’m diggin this.
