Song for Your Weekend: Sky Ferreira Everything Is Embarrassing (MK remix)

This is just one of those undeniably catchy songs that grabs my ear every time Jason plays it. It’s currently 80 degrees and sunny in LA and I can’t think of a better start to the weekend than hopping in my car and driving down the coast with this song pumping on the stereo.

When I found out it was produced by Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes, it made complete sense. He is a genius when it comes to creating buoyant danceable pop songs that you can listen to over and over. There’s a craft here beyond “I just want to make a pop hit” – it’s solid in every sense.

Jason is partial to the MK Remix, but the original is great too.
