I first heard this track on DJTravis Holcombe’s show yesterday and it completely stopped me in my tracks.

Quadron singer Coco O harnesses her vocal power (and sensuality) perfectly, soaring over a drum n bass beat and a jazzy old-timey piano melody. The combination of these three things, and the lyrics, make it an utterly enthralling mix.

“I just want to have a good time. Can’t I have fun for the rest of my life. Just go where the wind blows.”

Coco O. – Where The Wind Blows by Interscope Records

You’ve probably heard all about the soundtrack to the new “Great Gatsby“ movie, directed by Baz Luhrmann, because Jay-Z executive produced it.

While tracks by bigger names like Beyonce, Florence & The Machine and Lana Del Rey get a lot of attention, I hope this gem doesn’t slip through the cracks. Ideally, it will turn a wider audience on to Coco’s talents. She sincerely deserves it.

Editor’s Note: Quadron have a new album out soon and will be performing on Morning Becomes Eclectic to celebrate! Stay tuned for details.
