Temples are a neo-psych group from the Midlands, England. That is the only biographical info you’ll find on the band’s Facebook page but it pretty much tells you everything.

From Tame Impala to the Allah Las and, most recently, Madchester revivalists Jagwar Ma, there’s been a lot of trippy music coming our way. Channeling the Beatles during their acid phase, here’s Temples, with their contagious track “Shelter Song”.

Appropriately enough, Temples released their debut single on a label called Heavenly (with the b-side “Prisms”).

And it’s worth noting that just this past Saturday, they were among the bands playing Hyde Park before the Rolling Stones took the stage.

Anne Litt, Travis Holcombe and Chris Douridas are all giving them spins so keep an eye on this band. They’re touring the UK and beyond through October but perhaps they’ll pay us a visit soon.
