KCRW guides you through the maze of music with 5 new songs this week. We start the week with Italian artists Nicola Conte & Gianluca Petrella as they delve into the African Spirit. Newlywed TySegall pays tribute to his wife with a new song and has a couple of sold out dates at the Teragram Ballroom in December. Get ready to drift into the dreamy sound of Giraffage. We hear from American roots auteur Lee Ann Womack. And get familiar with new work from Destroyer before their LA date at The Regent in January.

African Spirit, a spiritual mantra has a dance-floor groove that can lead to ecstatic dancing.

If you’ve seen TySegall in concert during the last year, you would have heard him play My Lady’s On Fire. Well, he’s finally recorded the crowd-pleaser which is destined to be a classic acoustic pop ballad by the newly married singer.

Wednesday, Nov 29 Giraffage “Do U Want Me”

The debut album by San Francisco producer/DJ Giraffage purrs with kaleidoscopic beats and dreamy synth-pop. Do U Want Me launches the album which was created in his bedroom over the span of 2 years

Thursday, Nov 30 Lee Ann Womack “All The Trouble”

Lee Ann Womack is an impeccable storyteller that is hailed as “one of American roots music’s foremost auteurs” by NPR Music. Womack’s new album explores the music of East Texas as the singer embodies beautiful melancholy. Here’s All The Trouble.
