The Swedish sisters behind First Aid Kit meld their voices to create hauntingly beautiful harmonies. Their track “Hard Believer” was one of my favorite singles of 2010 and now they have a new album on the way, produced by Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes fame. (He’s also produced She and Him, locals Sea Wolf, and the solo debut of The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas).
We have the title track, “The Lion’s Roar”, as a preview for what’s ahead. AND I’m pretty sure we’ll get to hear a batch of new songs when they perform on Morning Becomes Eclectic next Tuesday, November 8. Don’t miss that one!
