Wild & Free – “Low Pressure” (Falqo remix) – KCRW PREMIERE!

If you had to pick parts of the world that were among the most vibrant for music-making at this particular moment in time, Los Angeles and Australia should probably make the short list. And despite the distance between them, nice collaborations are happening across the Pacific, with inspired results.

Take the new Falqo remix of Wild & Free‘s track, “Low Pressure.” The Australian newcomer (born Alexander White) gives a subtle ambient & downtempo spin on the LA-based production duo’s latest track on the RIS Labs label. That said, there’s still plenty enough beat to get bodies moving for your summertime backyard BBQ blow-outs (or, if you’re in Australia, your wintertime house parties).
