Hari Kunzru: Gods Without Men

Hosted by

Hari Kunzru situates his novel book.jpgGods Without Men (Knopf) in Joshua Tree in the California Mojave Desert where a child is lost. He weaves together multiple stories from 1775 to 2009 that explore loss, sacrifice and spiritual reconnection. Various divinities, including the Native American Coyote, materialize as human characters. Because the millennium is always deferred, we live in the hope that it is still coming.
