    Viken Berberian's first novel, The Cyclist(Simon & Schuster), attempts to take us inside the head of a failed suicide bomber. The author explores his connection to the subject (his father was killed in the Lebanese Civil War) and the models in music and poetry that brought him closer to this dissociated and shattered personality.
