I love your show! Quick question–can you recommend a place in LA that has decent beef bourguignon (or the like)?

Beef or Boeuf Bourguignon is the famed French stew in which beef is braised in red wine (Burgundy) with garlic, onions, bouquet garni and sometimes mushrooms. Perhaps watching Julie & Julia brought on this craving of yours. I’ve heard tell that both Comme Ca and Canele have excellent takes on this dish. Lesley Bargar Suter of Los Angeles magazine recommends Le Saint Amour in Culver City. I haven’t tried those myself, but now that you mention it….
