Every Tuesday I answer a question from a Good Food listener. You can email me a question, leave one on Facebook or add one in the comments section here. This week’s question comes from Ashley:

I love your show and I have a question for you. We just returned from New Orleans and fell in love with boudin while we were there. Do you know of anywhere in LA to find this wonderful sausage?

In the Original Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax both Huntington Meats and Monsieur Marcel sell Boudin. Huntington’s Boudin comes from Louisiana I believe. If you are on the Westside go to Market Gourmet on Abott Kinney. The wholesaler to Marcel and Market Gourmet is Epicure Imports which has occasional warehouse sales. It’s also occasionally available at Sufas.

Here’s a list of mail order Cajun-Creole food sources from Chuck Taggart’s gumbopages.com.
