My first year in show business, a hit television show was a show that got, roughly, a twenty-five to thirty share -- that is, roughly twenty-five or thirty percent of all televisions in use were tuned to that show. These days, of course, that wouldn't be a hit -- it would be a monster hit, a shout-from-the-rooftops, stock price inflating, big bonus getting smash...
