I have a friend who has 13,487 Twitter followers, and the reason I know that is because he mentions it a lot. Like at lunch, the waiter will come and he'll say, "I have 13,000 Twitter followers, so I think I'll have the Cobb Salad." Or, maybe, out for a drink, he'll say, "I don't know what to have. Maybe I should ask my Tweeps, huh? I have 13,000 of them..."
