When Julianne Moore was starting out as an actress in the 1980’s, she got offered a part playing twins on the now defunct-soap opera ‘As the World Turns.’ Maybe it wasn’t the most prestigious gig, but Moore immediately saw the upside. That soap won Moore a Daytime Emmy and now she has an Oscar, too. Moore talks about how she picks her projects and why she’s not afraid to work with first-time directors--one of whom--Bart Freundlich--later became her husband. Moore and Freundlich join us to talk about the first film they made together, 'The Myth of Fingerprints,' and their latest collaboration, an English-language remake of the Danish film, 'After the Wedding.'
