  • WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey’s job title got even longer. He’s now AT&T President and COO. This seems to be a sign that he’ll be focused on the business side of things and leaving creative decisions to Bob Greenblatt at WarnerMedia and Ann Sarnoff at Warner Bros.

  • A new study suggests things are improving for women in entertainment both on and off the screen, but there’s still lots of progress to be made.

  • ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ was a box office hit, but when co-screenwriter Adele Lim learned she’d be paid $110,000 to work on the sequel, while her white male co-writer would be paid more than 8 times that amount, Lim left the project.
