Artist You Should Know: Heathers

Heathers are a local trio currently producing some of the most crackling, exciting guitar pop around. The band has been on my radar for a few years now, but I’ve become increasingly adamant about getting the word out on them since they more than held their own playing to a sold out crowd of anxious Viet Cong fans at the Echoplex a few months back.

Their latest single, “Tanker,” is perfectly indicative of everything this band does so right; the clanging immediate guitar sound, the insta-sing along chorus, and the fact that the track culminates with the band breaking into rounds!
