As part of our Fandom series we have Hanni El Khatib telling us about one of his favorite new artists.

When I first heard Boogarins I was instantly hooked.

It’s the perfect blend of fuzzed out, spacey psychedelic garage that I like. I originally thought it was an old band that had just been unearthed, that maybe I had never heard before. It sort of reminded me of something in the vein of “Os Mutantes” a little bit.

So when I found out that it was a group of young guys from Brazil and that it was recorded recently, I was blown away. The recordings are great and the songs are complex but still super melodic and catchy. It is definitely worth checking out. Bump it and trip out.
