Glow, Santa Monica’s free all night interactive art event on the beach, returns THIS Saturday September 25 from 7pm to 3am with 20 installations by local and international artists. KCRW has created a Glow Soundscape, an audio guide to the event curated by KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley. The soundscape is hosted by KCRW DJs and includes the voices of each artist talking about their creations. It also acts as a navigation tool with details on where to find each installation the night of the event.
Glow is a biannual event produced by the City of Santa Monica that challenges our notions as to how cities can be used, bringing together the great physical and cultural riches of our community in a free event. When museums sleep, Glow happens. Download the Soundscape in advance here (oh, and bring earplugs – it’s going to be loud down there!)
