Glow Santa Monica 2010
Welcome to Glow.
A FREE all night interactive art event on the beach in Santa Monica.
When museums sleep, Glow happens! Download your KCRW Glow Soundscape. Don’t forget your headphones/ear buds as the beach will be loud.
This audio guide was curated by KCRW Music Director and host of Morning Becomes Eclectic, Jason Bentley. Let Jason and a handful of your favorite KCRW DJs help guide your Glow experience.
The Glow Soundscape also features artists talking about their creations, and works as a navigation tool with details on where to find each installation the night of the event.
Glow is a biannual all-night art event re-imagining Santa Monica Beach as a playground for thoughtful and participatory temporary artworks.
Produced by the City of Santa Monica, Glow has commissioned an extraordinary array of local and international artists to create engaging sights and sounds from dusk and beyond.
These unique installations range from the most technologically advanced interactive artworks to acoustic music performances taking place on the beach. For more information and Glow updates go to glowsantamonica.org
