They’ve released the first single from their 3rd full length album set for release on May 8 on Dangerbird Records.
The track, “Bloody Mary (Nerve Endings)” maintains the fuzzy guitars that have defined their sound but takes it in a more ethereal direction.
From KCRW DJ Anne Litt:
“It’s just the kind of song that on the first listen I want to hear live and loud. Love the dreaminess and the thick guitars!”
It sounds as if they’ve been listening to bands like M83 and I like this new direction a lot. Apparently everything behind the record – the producer, where it was recorded – was quite serendipitous.
