Pan Caliente Track Premiere: Alicia Blue “Incognito”

Today we bring you the premiere of a delectable new voice in the singer/songwriter world. Her name is Alicia Blue and she is a Mexican-American singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles.

Her new single explores her first hand accounts to the racist undertones of Los Angeles as a Latina who identifies with her Mexican heritage, but who doesn’t necessarily look, as Hollywood would say, “Ethnic enough.”

It’s a poignant tune, with a story of a not so rare experience to those who are of mixed race in the U.S. Incognito is a deep rebuttal that delivers support for Alicia’s heritage and fellow brothers and sisters in Los Angeles who may not feel they have the power to say, “Those words are offensive.”
