Salvado y El Unicornio began as a DIY, bedroom music project of Mexican singer-songwriter Salvador Sahagún. His sound has a broad range of lo-fi pop and 60’s Brazilian psychedelia. In 2017, the track “Carolina” was easily one of the earwigs of the year; and, well, we definitely did not do it justice here on Pan Caliente.
It recently popped up on our playlists and we started digging around for the music video. We were pleased to find it exists.
It’s a straight ahead music video with the artist singing the jam and includes cut aways of the protagonist of the song (Carolina). But, with a song so sonically pleasing, you really don’t need too many visuals. Enjoy.
