Stream: New TV On The Radio — “Million Miles”

TV On The Radio have now given us two new tracks off their yet-to-be-titled fifth studio album. This is the first album on Producer Dave Sitek’s own label, Federal Prism and so far, so good.

Not too long ago, we were able to get our first peek at the new work with the track, “Mercy“. It’s upbeat New-wave backing was met with grinding guitars and unmistakable vocals by Tunde Adebimpe, a perfect match of pop and punk.

With “Million Miles“, we get more sweet than sour in a calmly melodic tune that has just a touch of energy bubbling underneath. Perhaps a bit more introspective, but a perfect companion to “Mercy” for getting the mouth to water a bit.

On top of a Wunder-producer, Sitek also appears to be a well-versed marketer.
