Although LA is in a perpetual summer state, when summer actually arrives, you know. Apartment complex pools become party zones, smokey BBQ smells draft into your windows with greater frequency, and weekend night drives and road trips to nowhere in particular become an escape from the heat. The summer also brings a mixtape/CD/playlist explosion…so, since we’re friends and all, I thought I’d share some jams you can cherry pick from to either incorporate into your summery playlists…or play’em all on shuffle at your hazy summer leisure.
