Fanatic! Welcome to this, our first radio notes for the year. Let’s hope we’re all here together on the radio at this time next year.

Tonight’s show has a little media influence at the top. The Thin Lizzy track is dedicated to Dick Cheney, John Yoo, Donald Rumsfeld, Jay Bybee and all those good times! The few songs after the fine Lizzy track is in celebration of new relationship with Cuba. I know some people don’t want to deal with the fact that the Cold War is over but I think it’s about time to move forward.

I started work on this show in a bar/café I would haunt nightly several days ago in Tbilisi Georgia called the Acid Bar. I finished the rest of it when I dragged my bones into the office soon after getting off the plane from Istanbul.

We continue out line of thought from last year with a healthy serving of Australian music, which I just got another stack of, so get ready for that.

It is pretty much the end of the “holiday season” and I hope that if it was your want, that you had some time to check out some tunes.

Here is a partial list of what I blew out the end of last year with:

December 2014

31. Nadja – Numbness CD

I wouldn’t dare tell you what to do, Fanatic but you might find it useful to keep track of the records you listen to. I find it to be handy to keep me on track with expanding my listening. The lists are great to come back to a year later and see how you have changed, or not as the case may be.

It is 12-31-14. I will be out on the streets for a little longer and then back to the pad for an all vinyl jam out to bring in the new year.

I was asked by Esquire Mag to make one of those lists. I usually try to wriggle out of these things because I can’t do them half way. I get loose from it once but got ensnared weeks later. Here it is, if you want to check it out: http://www.esquire.com/_mobile/blogs/culture/henry-rollins-top-10-underground-songs

We hope you dig what we have set up for our first 2015 show. I have gotten a lot of new records over the last few weeks, so next week should be pretty cool, please tune in if you can.

Listen well and STAY FANATIC!!!
