Henry Rollins: KCRW Broadcast #906 (Case Of The Punks)
A mix of all kinds, from all over and all time.

Fanatic! Hot out. We have a great show lined up for you. I’ve been buried in the office copy editing a book that we’ll be announcing later in the year. While working away, I’ve been trying to listen to a lot of music. I’m really liking a band that Steph Hughes of Dick Diver and Stroppies note is in called the Blank Statements. Great LP.
Sweet Knives new double 7” is out. Alicja just sent me info.
It’s not for me to announce a band’s release before they do but I will say that a band we like a lot on the show has a great record coming out later in the year. I’ve heard it twice and it’s excellent. Can’t wait to get this one on the air.
The iguana is out of the bag on this one. Iggy’s new record Free is out in September. I’ve heard it a few times. Looking forward to getting that one on the show. We still have a few weeks to wait. Ugh!
Apologies to the band VNLVX for getting their name wrong when last we played them. Cool music they make. Here’s how to find them.
This record is 100%. I think it’s my favorite Ty album yet. Wow!
Reminder:
On Sunday, August 18, John Dwyer of The Oh Sees will be our guest and we will be playing the new Oh Sees album Face Stabber from start to finish.
We hope you dig the show.
Seek shade and STAY FANATIC!!!
