Fanatics!

I am in less than warm Kitchener Ontario way up here in Canada. Spring is attempting to move Winter out of the way but is meeting great resistance. Shows have been going very well out here and I am happy to be on the move and onstage every night. The Canadian audiences have been great to me so all is fine. We have put together some new shows that we will be working on from out here on the road and sending in to Engineer X for the final assembly. I will be putting together some other new ones from the road in the next few weeks, there's a lot of new music I have acquired that will fit nicely. I got some great Hendrix stuff from Ian MacKaye, Andrew the Canadian Fanatic will be bringing some interesting stuff to the Toronto show, Joel, Fanatic From Ohio will be bringing some music with him to the show and our man for all things Fall, Dan Trice gave me some great music recently as well as did the men from Buck Gooter, so we are somewhat spoiled for choice, no bad position to be in.

Now tonight we have a mix that takes us all over the place as we do here on the show. I don't know if we have listened to the Brides on our show in a long time so they are with us tonight. Also, we have an obscure and really cool Roy Orbison song, Ride Away, it seems to have gotten past a lot of Roy O fans but it can't get past us! I think tonight's King Sunny track is from an album that might be a bootleg of some kind. There's a lot of Sunny's records on CD that seem to be less than legit but the music sounds good. There's not a lot of information on the CD but he sounds pretty young on this recording. Charley Lincoln, brother of Barbeque Bob, another great Blues player. Look up Lincoln's life story, it's a tale of the Blues like you wouldn't believe! I hope you dig our mix tonight and thanks for all the cool letters you have been sending in. Still hearing about the Trouble Funk show from weeks ago, so glad that you all dug that one. Next week's show will be very interesting to say the least, tune in if you can and STAY FANATIC!!!
