Fanatic! I hope you had a great week. I’m buried in work and don’t know when I’ll be topside. I’ve got a lot of records to play, so I’m hanging in there.

Fanatic! I hope you had a great week. I’m buried in work and don’t know when I’ll be topside. I’ve got a lot of records to play, so I’m hanging in there.

I heard a great album last night that I think you’re going to like. I don’t know when the release date is and it’s not for me to get out in front of a band but I think you’re going to like it when we start tracks, whenever we get the green light.

Also, a great album by our good our pal and sonic ally, Hannah Lew aka Cold Beat, has a new release slated for the end of February called Mother. I listened to the LP last night. I think it’s great from start to finish. We have a track on next week’s show and will wait for the label to let us know when we can play more. Here’s the info.

The great FDH Records is having a sale and one of the cooler items is the Trash On!!! box set, a 6LP retrospective of the P.Trash label. The label’s owner, Peter Eichhorn was killed in a car accident on 01-18-18. This is the description from Discogs:

P.Trash Records, FDH Records & No Front Teeth Records present a 6 LP tribute to Peter Eichhorn & P.Trash Records featuring 104 bands with 59 previously unreleased tracks by The Spits, Mean Jeans, Steve Adamyk Band, Lover, Statues, The Manikins, Teledrome, Digital Leather, Modern Pets, Sonic Avenues & loads more.

It’s a cool set from an excellent label. You might remember that we were playing tracks from it last year. There are a few left at a really good price. If you want to check it out, here’s the info.

Wasted Shirt, who is Ty Segall and Brian Chippendale are set to release Fungus II soon. We’ve been able to play one track so far. I can’t wait to be able to get the other tracks on the show. Great record.

Martin Rev at Zebulon January 30! I just got my ticket. Stoked!!!

Here’s how to get my new book.

Oh, and then there’s what we have lined up tonight. A great show.

Have a great week and STAY FANATIC!!!
