Fanatic. I hope you had a good week. We acknowledge the sad passing of Clem Burke of Blondie, Dave Allen from Gang Of Four and Al Barile of SSD.

We have a tremendous lineup of tunes for you tonight. Before we get into that, I wanted to follow up on something I brought up, I think last week.

Remember, I told you there was an album to be looking forward to, but I couldn’t say anything about it because I couldn’t find any information on its proper release date? I was able to get the information and now as Devo used to say, the truth can be told. Brand new music from our good pal and sonic ally Kilynn Lundsford! The new album is titled Promiscuous Genes and will be available for pre-order on April 15. You can find it at feelitrecordshop.com and feelitrecords.bandcamp.com. Don’t worry, I’ll remind you again next week. It’s a really good record. I’m so glad KL followed up on her 2022 Custodians Of Human Succession album. You might remember last week we listed some upcoming dates for her. Here they are again.

May

  1. Philadelphia, PA @ PhilaMOCA (PHILLY RECORD RELEASE SHOW)

  2. Pittsburgh, PA @ Government Center

  3. Cincinnati, OH @ Feel It Records

  4. Detroit, MI @ Outer Limits Lounge

June

  1. Cleveland, OH @ Happy Dog

  2. Raleigh, NC @ The Night Rider

  3. Atlanta, GA @ The Star Bar

  4. Nashville, TN @ DRKMTTR (pending confirmation)

8. Richmond or Harrisonburg, VA (pending confirmation)

July

  1. Queens, NY @ TV Eye w/ Live Skull (NYC RECORD RELEASE SHOW)

Also, Juanita and Juan aka Alice Bag and Kid Congo have shows coming up.

April

  1. Thee Stork Club, Oakland CA

  2. Clock Out Lounge, Seattle WA

  3. Polaris Hall, Portland OR

  4. Capitol Theater Olympia, WA

May

  1. Féria De la Frontera, Juarez, Chihuahua MX

Tonight’s gathering of tunes you will hopefully find to be a buoyant mix of the familiar and otherwise. We have tracks from Kilynn’s very cool new album starting soon and will be starting a new weekly installment of a single track, the details of which we’ll get into when we commence this in a couple of weeks starting in May. Otherwise, please enjoy the music and get ready get set for next week’s show which is already in the works. Have a great week and please stay Fanatic.
