Fanatic! I hope you had a great week and made time to listen to as much music as possible. I had another grim week of proofreading 5 to 11 hours a day, which didn’t leave me much time to get many records played, but I still was able to put a dent, albeit small, into my new arrivals shelf.

I checked out the new album by Body Maintenance called Far From Here. Thanks to our good pal from Melbourne, Australia, Michael Mulholland for the heads up on this cool band.

There are some upcoming releases to make note of.

The new Osees album Abomination Revealed At Last comes out on August 8.

That cool band Dr Sure's Unusual Practice has a new release.

A new 7” from RMFC.

A new album by our good pal and sonic ally Molly Nilsson called Amateur. It’s not coming out until October but I bet it will be worth the wait.

I just got sent some new releases from In The Red Records, run by our good pal and sonic ally Larry Hardy. I haven’t seen any of them listed on his site so I’ll leave it for him to announce but I can let you know that we’ll get into them later next month.

Also, I’ve never heard of this artist before, K2 / K. Kusafuka, but checked him out and thought the work was really cool. We’ll start listening on our fourth Saturday in August.
