The springtime jams continue, including the latest from atmospheric electronic producer Space Ghost out of Oakland. After spending some time seaside in the northern part of the state, Ghost created sonic textures inspired by events and complications during the past two years. He says he wanted to create something healing, rejuvenating, and helpful, with the ability to restore.
Plus, we celebrate the second solo single “Fruit” from Oliver Sim of The xx, complete with spicy cover art featuring a solitary pearl earring and a hickey. Tune in for all that and more to help you ease into the week’s home stretch.

Part wax, part digital, pure heat. Tyler “Boogie” Boudreaux channels KCRW’s eclectic sound through a kaleidoscope of psych, garage rock, soul, funk, and indie sounds. Vintage records collide with new releases, while house, indie dance, post-punk, trip-hop, darkwave, and unexpected detours keep the boundaries loose. The common thread is energy, groove, and discovery, with one hand in the crates and the other firmly planted in what’s happening now. Tune in to Tyler’s show Thursday nights from 8 to 10pm.
