“Creole Afro-futurists” Dowdelin will drop their third LP Tchenbé ! on Feb. 14, 2025 and as part of this edition of MBE, you’ll hear the album’s second single “I Ka Woulé” before it hits DSPs on Jan. 10. Expect to give the rewind button on your browser a workout, as the track’s gentle-yet-propulsive rhythms and language-transcending message of “failure is not the end of the road” set a perfect tone for the new year.
