Morning Becomes Eclectic playlist: December 15, 2025
KCRW’s signature music program — defying format since 1977.

Washington D.C.-born, North Carolina-raised songstress Baby Rose haunts The Annenberg Performance Studio at KCRW HQ with the potently woozy R&B of select cuts from her sophomore album Through and Through — released earlier this year via Secretly Canadian. Zoom in for jammed out versions of “Fight Club,” “I Won’t Tell,” and “Stop The Bleeding.” The latter of which is calling to mind a killer James Bond theme from the future, and making us hope that a collab between Rose and Danielle Ponder is imminent. Plus, enjoy a dip back to her 2020 debut To Myself as she serenades us with that album’s de facto title track, “All To Myself.” Also, please enjoy the layers of backstory revealed behind each song, and Rose getting real with Morning Becomes Eclectic co-host Anthony Valadez about owning her Southern roots and her love of Anime.
