Special Guests JUNGLE bring the Sunshine to MBE
KCRW’s signature music program — defying format since 1977.

It’s day one of MBE x SXSW and the party is already jumping. Live From The Rivian Electric Roadhouse in Austin, Texas you’ll hear: Austin-native Gary Clark, Jr., a funky South By-inspired cut from Norwegian group Fieh, a brand new, certified ‘n’ synthesized groover from Stereolab’s Morgane Lhote (now recording as Hologram Teen), and plenty more sounds for a proper weekday getdown.
P.S. - Be sure to tune in all week — we’ve got Queen of New Orleans bounce Big Freedia popping by for a special guest DJ set on Thursday, March 13, emerging singer-songwriter Jacob Alon joining us all the way from Scotland for a live performance on Friday, March 14, and plenty more goodies and surprises along the way.
