Houston’s Jamire Williams is back with “Hands Up,” his latest single from his forthcoming album “But Only After You Have Suffered” on respected jazz label International Anthem. The track is an intense crescendoing devotional hymn that is equal parts Kendrick Lamar and Pink Floyd. Williams has contributed to projects alongside Solange, Moses Sumney, Dev Hynes, and Robert Glasper as a multidisciplinary artist and drummer who is inspired by life’s scriptures.
