Mexico City-based French psych-pop band Petite Amie have been releasing excellent singles for the past few months in the run up to their forthcoming, self-titled debut album. The excitement for “Petite Amie,” due on October 1, has reached a fever pitch around these parts as we’ve been playing all of the advance singles more than anything else this week — save for the queen, Cleo Sol.

We’ve got a couple of brand new entries that demand your immediate attention as well. Portland duo Foamboy have made the leap from the depths of the inbox to the middle of the chart. And don’t sleep on Northern California’s retro leaning crooner Stephen Sanchez. He only has a handful of singles to his name so far, but we’re certain it’s a name you’re going to be hearing a lot.
