Just about a year ago, while under lockdown, London-based producer Lauren Duffus began to tinker with a trial version of Logic 3 to pass the time, and she hasn’t stopped making music since. While she prefers a more melancholic sound to channel loss and grief, the sorrowful “Soho Road (Crying Song)” transforms sobs into a cathartic, haunting composition.
