In 2005, Meredith Bragg and his wife decided to quit their jobs and put everything they owned in storage and travelled for a solid year. In that time, they discovered a new freedom from being paired down, and that idea slipped into his music as well. For Silver Sonya, he went solo, acoustic and crafted songs from fragments created on the trip.
