Birthed in Mexico in 2017, Reyna Tropical explores “intuition, transition, connection, and continuation — a celebration of spiritual survival pulsing with the beat of all things tropical.”
Now led by Fabiola Reyna, “Ya Va Pasar,” Spanish for “This Too Will Pass” is the first track written after the passing of her friend and bandmate Sumohair (Nectali Diaz), attesting to Reyna’s trajectory through grief. It’s also the song that continues the band’s vision: “to be a voice and a platform for the joy and injustices living within the spectrum of Queer Love & Afro-Mexico.”
