Long ago and far away, The Manhattan Transfer’s late founding member Tim Hauser hosted a weekly vocal music show on KCRW. His conspirator Janis Siegel became a regular guest on our airwaves when she brought in quirky tracks to Morning Becomes Meshuga.
Now the legendary vocal group that garnered 29 albums, ten Grammy Awards, and induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame celebrate their golden anniversary with a new album and a final world tour. “Agua” is from that album, entitled “Fifty.”
