Clifford Clinton opened the beloved comfort-food restaurant in 1935; now developer Andrew Meieran is reopening it to serve a new generation. Long-time patrons will find the new Clifton's Cafeteria to be much the same, but also quite different. Gideon Brower toured the space with Chris Nichols and filed this report.
