Indigenous community brings healing to complex history of Inland Empire boarding school

Many Native American boarding schools closed long ago and are viewed as sites of trauma, but Sherman Indian High School in Riverside is different. It’s still open and thriving, and its mission is to support tribal traditions and identities.
