DACA recipients in LA celebrate Supreme Court ruling

By

The Supreme Court struck down the Trump administration’s challenge to Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (DACA). DACA is the 2014 Obama-era executive order that allowed the children of undocumented immigrants to stay in the U.S. and pursue employment for renewable two-year periods. After years of legal challenges, today’s ruling gives many young Angelenos a reason to celebrate.
