Every year, there are more and more scripted TV series for your perusal. Last year brought 532 of them. That was a new record -- double the number of scripted shows on our screens only a decade ago. Networks, producers, and viewers are all getting swept away in the deluge, as “peak TV” revolutionizes the television industry.
