Aleppo is falling; Trump's State Department pick

Hosted by , , and

In Syria, rebel-held Eastern Aleppo is falling, with reports of civilians being slaughtered in the process. Is the United States doing all it should? Jill Filipovic says anyone with a humane bone in their body needs to be calling for some movement. Rich Lowry disagrees and says we should be financially supporting the surrounding countries who are receiving the Syrian people. The FBI is backing a CIA assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election. How concerned should we be? David Frum says this is the nightmare of the founding fathers. We have a security risk in the Oval Office -- someone who is beholden to a hostile foreign power.

Josh Barro (Business Insider) moderates from the Center. On the Left, Jill Filipovic (journalist based in NYC and Nairobi and author of forthcoming book The H-Spot: The Feminist Pursuit of Happiness).  Rich Lowry (National Review) is on the Right. David Frum (The Atlantic) is our special guest.
