The Iran Deal Has the Votes

Hosted by , , and

President Obama has enough votes for the Iran deal to go forward. Only three Democrats have broken with the president. Is it awkward that Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who is expected to become Majority Leader next year, has broken with the president? Rich Lowry says Republican presidential candidates must maintain their "complete and stalwart opposition" to the plan, similar to what they must do with Obamacare. The world has been captivated by the heartbreaking pictureof three-year-old Aylan Kurdi, who died while his Syrian family was trying to reach Greece. What is the world's obligation to refugees? León Krauze, anchor for Univision's KMEX, says it's "revolting that countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain have offered zero to help." Jill Filipovic, senior political writer at Cosmopolitan.com, says European countries must act. "These people are at their door. There is no time." Donald Trump continues to dominate the news of the Republican presidential race. He signed a pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee going forward. He also continued to hit fellow candidate Jeb Bush with claims he should stop speaking Spanish. Should Spanish be a liability on the campaign trail?

Josh Barro (New York Times) moderates from the Center. On the Left, Jill Filipovic (political writer for Cosmopolitan). Rich Lowry (National Review) is on the Right. León Krauze (anchor for Univision's KMEX in LA) is our special guest.
