Concerns around voter intimidation and Brexit

Groups supporting Trump say they plan to send poll watchers to polling places nationwide on election day. The groups say they want to prevent voter fraud, but opponents argue what they’re doing is voter intimidation.

Some memes and tweets are telling voters they can vote online or by text, which you cannot do in any state. There are some deceptive ads on Twitter targeting minority voters, and Trump bots have been out-tweeting Clinton bots.

Britain’s hit a speed bump on its way to leave the EU. The UK’s high court ruled that Parliament must approve Brexit before the process begins.

More than 100 tribes from the U.S. and Canada have rallied with the Standing Rock Sioux tribe against the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota. The protest is part of a long history of Native American activism surrounding tribal sovereignty and environmental concerns.
